ROSIN AND TURPENTINE FACTORIES:

The management of two Rosin and Turpentine Factories at Nahan and Bilaspur was transferred to the Corporation with effect from 01.04.1974. There has been marked increase in resin processing, rosin and turpentine oil production and sale proceeds during the past so many years on account of concerted efforts by the Forest Corporation.

The total installed capacity of the R&T Factories is 1,11,000 quintals per annum i.e. Nahan 37,000 quintals & Bilaspur 74,000 quintals of raw resin.

Terms and Conditions of sale:  

1)         All rates are ex-factory exclusive of excise duty, CST, VAT etc.

2)         Rates/Rebates offered for the product are subject to change without notice. The rates chargeable will be the rates prevailing at the time of dispatch from the factories.

3)         The supply of material is subject to availability.

4)         Any amount lying with the Corporation against which no material is allotted shall be refunded to the buyers(s) with out any interest.

5)         Our responsibility ceases when the material has been dispatched from the R&T factories at Nahan and Bilaspur. No claim for shortages and damages etc. in transit will be entertained.

6)         The buyers shall have to deposit full advance payment by bank draft preferably of State Bank of India or State Bank of Patiala payable at Shimla or through e-transfer in our account No.050010200002127 at UTI/AXIS Bank Shimla or Account No.5242320000026 at HDFC Bank Shimla.

7)         CST @ 2% or as applicable on sale price will be charged on production of Form-C, which is to be sent in advance along with supply order. CST/VAT will be charged at full rates without Form-C etc.

8)         The bank charges for remittance/withdrawal of payments will be borne by the purchaser(s).

      9)         All sale contracts, the cause of action will be at Shimla and also subject to jurisdiction of  
                  State of Himachal Pradesh.
